Thanks Phil – we are considering reworking the upgrade process. If this suggestions gains more traction, we’ll prioritise it higher
An error occurred while saving the comment ptrubs commentedThe upgrade process is abysmal.
Updating the website using the gui is pretty simple, but to update the base monitor forces you to install the website on the same box. Its not clear what effect installing the website on two different servers has on the install (or the most effective way of ignoring/uninstalling the website on the base monitor?). Not forcing the install of the website (through the GUI) would be a significant start.
Which leaves us with the instructions at https://documentation.red-gate.com/sm/installation-and-setup/automated-installation-and-updates which is still incredibly onerous, which requires an incredible amount of manual steps in order to automate it (some _provided_ Powershell scripts might be useful to assist with this)
Finally - having to enter the credentials of the Database service account for an update doesn't make things particularly streamline... (although can be dealt with if using a CI server) Can the existing config settings be re-used?

Hi, is frequency analysis something that we could offer in-app, or would you specifically prefer to export the data first?
An error occurred while saving the comment ptrubs commentedI'd find this useful for various analysis of alert occurrences. eg fine tuning disk space alerts

An error occurred while saving the comment ptrubs commentedThis exclusion would require a regex to be compared against the output Message of the job, rather than the job name itself?
It would be a bit simpler (and be of much greater utility to a wider audience) to allow the exclusion based on regex of the job name. Similar to the what you can exclude of the Job Duration Unusual alert
After a bit more searching, this _specific_ issue has been addressed in Version 9.0.13 released 23rd May (https://sqlmonitor.uservoice.com/forums/91743-suggestions/suggestions/37287307-sql-agent-jobs-with-a-cancelled-status-are-incor)
still need service account creds in (at least) some situations (ie - using the command line)
