An alternative would also be to add a new "Comment and close" button in the comment box that would automatically close the comments.

This would indeed be useful. I think Asaf's solution would be good step forward while keeping it simple. 1st columns is the integer metric, 2nd column is the alert description string.

Apparently the "Paused" replica that we do not want to monitor counts against our licenses so it's suddenly more important for us to be able to truly remove a replica.

I would definitely appreciate this since the built-in monitoring tools of SSAS are so bad. It could even be licensed separately.

I would also add that it would be nice to be able to resize that comically tiny listbox. A search box and a better usage of available screen space would make this screen much more pleasant to use.
