Pagerduty API/WebHooks and Better Notification channel
We are in a high secure payments network, we do not wish to open ports used for email (smtp) however we would like integration with Pagerduty.
Please create a generic web hook interface where the payload can be fully customised or direct integration via there API.
I would like the option to pick what communication channel is used based on the severity of the alert
Alert Rule XXXXXX
H M L
Email
Pagerduty X
Slack X
Custom Webhook messages now allow the Webhook message sent to be customised. See https://documentation.red-gate.com/sm/metrics-alerts-and-notifications/configuring-alert-notifications/setting-up-webhook-notifications/custom-webhook-messages for full details.

Your link for the SQLMonitor integration still shows using email. That is still an additional potential point of failure for alerts going out since you need to bounce off of an SMTP server. Do you have a direct integration with the PagerDuty API from SQL Monitor?

It would be much better to have SQL Monitor not have to contact PD via email. Recently we have had this cause delays in our PD calls and given PD is such a standard and critical component in helping businesses to maintain up time SQL Monitor should not have to rely on the email system to be able to alert first responders. Currently for us if email is down, we don't get alerts from SQL Monitor. If our production SQL Server environment goes down we lose thousands of dollars every minute down. When email is down we don't lose revenue, We still can take calls. Because of this PRTG has remained as part of my SQL Monitoring solution. I highly encourage you to take this step to truly show you are serious about being the enterprise monitoring solution for SQL Server Monitoring. I am quite sure I am not alone in this need and given other monitoring solutions already do this it is long overdue here.

We are very keen to have Pagerduty integration baked into SQL Monitor or at the very least AWS SES support that does not require SMTP ports to be open.

Kind regards
