    Databases that are the mirror half of databases using SQL mirroring will be in recovery ALL the time, and you can't back them up, so you have to ingore them.

    When we’ll be improving the alert configuration UI, we’ll keep that use case in mind

    The model database is almost always set to FULL, but it doesn't change much or grow. There is no reason to schedule a regular log backup.
