In Google Chrome browser I would like to see the alert count number on the tab. This is especially useful when you have other tabs open and only want to look at the monitor if there is something new to look at. I generally am reviewing operational graphs, reading email, or working on a development project once I have completed my initial review of any current alerts and cleared them.
