Add an alert to monitor failed logins.
The sql logs show failed logins, could we have an alert for this?

Thanks JL and Andrew. Apart from what JL has already pointed out. We are also working on "Custom metric and alert" feature which is planned for next release. It should be possible to achieve this via custom alert feature also.

This is already possible by configuring the 'SQL Server error log entry' to check for errors with severity state of 14 and above. By default it is at a high level which is the reason why it is not raising the alerts.
