I would like to receive alert email and pager alert when sql instance is in suspended state. Alert should be received periodically till it is resumed. Currently no alert even though instane is in this state for ever. Powershell script is there to check status but to run this script port 8080 to be enabled and we cant run script on sql server to integrate with email/pager through job because port will be blocked on sql.
