Provide a report on queries with suggestions on improving performance
When viewing the top 10 queries, we can see suggestions on what may improve the performance for the specific query. Can this functionality be summarized in one report per database to suggest and what indexes could assist with improving performance.
I would like to see:
SQL Query, Query statistics, Query plan, Suggestion(s)
(similar to top 10 but more extensive.)
Also provide searching capability to look for any suggestion that relates to a specific object.
This will assist DBAs to specifically drill into a specific issue query and provide instant suggestions on what can be done to improve performance for that query and provide an overall report on improvements that needs to be looked at to fine tune performance for this particular database/instance.

Hi Stefan,
Thank you for your suggestions, it sounds like there’s a few different ideas here!
Improving some of the performance tuning capabilities in SQL Monitor is currently an area of focus for us, so I’d really like to learn a bit more by asking a couple of questions if that’s ok?
I understand you want to be able to view a report of suggestions on how to improve the performance of queries, per database. Do you have any examples of what sort of suggestions would be most useful to you?
Thanks for sharing a link to the article on index information too, is it fair to say that information on missing, unused or duplicated indexes would be enough, or is there any other information around indexes that you would want to see and why would that be?
Thanks for sharing your ideas with us,
Elena Lockyer (Product Designer - SQL Monitor)

This information would be useful as potential report.
