allow analysis graphs to update with realtime data without having to manually refresh them
We have SQLmonitor analysis graphs running on wallboards to show us data that is useful to us, but we continually need to click the button to "jump to present", as the timeline does not update as more data is collected to show the most recent history. We want the graph to move automatically to match the current time of day.
Maybe a "play" button that would allow thye display to automatically refresh the graph along the timeline and a pause button should you want to drill deeper into a certain time period when investigating issues. Having the graph update automatically to see new data seems like such an obvious request, I can't understand why it's not there already.

I agree that it shouldn't be the default, but defiantly should be a refresh every x minutes option which can be enabled, should keep the compare baseline and add another metric settings with it as well, sometimes a current graph can look fine but something has happened higher up the chain(web server going out) that can cut the traffic by half, the graph itself looks fine unless you look at the numbers. (not too bothered about the add another metric personally since they don't have a stable scale across each other it can be confusing.

I think I disagree with this idea as a default. I mainly use this display for Day over Day baseline comparisons and don't really want the time frame to change while I am comparing various values between Noon-and Noon today and last week.
If a R/T dashboard is desired then I think that is a different function/feature. -

We have the same setup, several windows open on a monitor to see the health of the DB at a glance. Would be great if you could add a configurable play button.
I created a rough and ready Chrome extension that periodically clicks on the jump to button and updates the timeline. Feel free to use (no responsibility taken for it).

Agreed. This is the feature I've been waiting for; being able to save the analysis graph URL to display on my wall boards. However it's useless if it doesn't show live data.
